Outeniqua means “the land of milk and honey” and this golf course offers a leisure and entertaining golfing experience. It offers a more forgiving terrain than its counterpart Montagu but offers its fair share of challenges to keep golfers interested. Many of the fairways are lined with villas featuring thatch roofs and crisp white walls, which only adds to the course’s unique charm.

This golf course starts with the two old holes, progressing through nine new holes before returning on the 12^th to the original layout. There is an ongoing argument regarding the signature hole at the Outeniqua course. Some claim the 4^th, which is a par 3. Others claim the 5^th hole which is a par 4 with water all the way down the right and bunkers on your left. The debate continues as some suggest the 7^th, a difficult par 3, long, narrow, with swirling winds in this low haven on the Outeniqua. The 11^th is classified as the best hole on the course, a long Par 5 with crisscrossing creeks. While the debate continues, you will thoroughly enjoy each challenge.
