Hermanus is situated on the stunning South Coast of the Western Cape (90mins from Cape Town) and is famous for its incredible viewings of Southern Right Whales. We welcome the Southern Right & Humpback whales to the bay during the peak whale season (June to December). Learn about these ‘gentle giants’ directly from a whale specialist. Spot Humpback, Southern Right whales and even dolphins and seals—depending on the season.

Boat-based Whale Watching trip begins with an on-land briefing led by a whale specialist guide before heading down the jetty to the catamaran. The Whale Specialist guide will interpret the marine life encountered on route and provide insight into the behaviour of the whales while you are watching them in action.
