Malopeni 4X4 Trail

The Malopeni 4x4Trail is a guided route with stream crossings, muddy areas, sand, and rock. The trail is only two kilometres long, starting at the Phalaborwa Gate, up to the beautiful Letaba River, and returning to Phalaborwa Gate. It is 71 kilometres long and takes about two days to complete, ideal for a weekend away. Malopeni is an eco-trail that showcases the splendour and wonder of the South African plant life. In addition to predator and prey, there are hundreds of bird species, making for exciting finds and stunning photographs. Remember to bring an insect repellent, a hat, sunblock cream, and a water bottle.
