OVERVIEW
Euphoria Golf and Lifestyle Estate is situated in the foothills of the Waterberg Mountains of Limpopo and the first golf course in Africa which was designed by a woman, the legendary Annika Sorenstam. It is regarded as one of the best golf courses for bird watching, and watchers could see more than a hundred different species on any given day.
With views of undisturbed bushveld, the commitment was to design and develop the golf course to preserve and enhance the indigenous flora and fauna of the surrounding landscape. The fairways on the course are wide and well-bunkered and the rough is forgiving. A natural river flows through the length of the golf course, and a few dams adding to the exciting threat of water.
Euphoria Golf Estate has an almost links feel to it, and you can not help but appreciate the majesty of South Africa when you play a round at this championship course. Euphoria is situated 7 kilometres outside of Naboomspruit; it is an easy commute from the economic hub of Gauteng. It is strategically located 210 km north of Johannesburg in the Waterberg region of South Africa’s Limpopo Province. The 750 hectares Nature Reserve is situated on the Estate and is home to many different animals, including the leopard, which is indigenous to the area and can also be spotted in the Reserve.
Golfers will find the Euphoria golf course demanding and challenging but also exceptionally rewarding.
The 11th host Par 4 is the signature hole here. The tee shot is played over a stream that winds its way along the left side of the fairway to the only two-tiered green on the course.
Soak in the scenery from the 13th Par 4, the highest point on the course before teeing off into the dogleg right.
